Day 1 Arrival Urumqi
Arrival at Urumqi in Xinjiang, an area of the unparalleled scenery and cultural diversity, you will be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Urumqi
After breakfast, you will visit the Museum of the Autonomous Region for about 1 hour. After that, enjoy excursion to Heavenly Lake (Tianchi), which is about 100 km away from Urumqi. You will spend 4 hours there to explore the natural beauty of Xinjiang. The beautiful lake is flanked by rugged pines and cypresses, with clear melting waters reflecting the surrounding of snowcapped mountain. In the afternoon, drive back to Xinjiang downtown and visit Erdaoqiao Grand Bazaar, which is believed to be the largest outdoor market in town.
An evening performance named Silk Road Show is highly recommended to you while you will appreciate the west lifestyle of China. Dinner will also be served during the show.

Day 3 Urumqi Turpan
After breakfast, you will head for Turpan, about 200 km from Urumqi. Upon arrival, visit Karez Well, the underground water supply and irrigation system. After that, enjoy family visit of local Uygur and have lunch with them. You will learn how to make Xinjiang food and visit the vineyard. In the afternoon, visit Emin Minaret (Sugong Pagoda) which is the biggest ancient pagoda existing in Xinjiang and the only Islamic ancient pagoda in the country. Appreciate sunset at Jiaohe Ancient City and have leisure walk at the valley about 40 minutes. Drive to your hotel in Turpan and free activity on your own.

Day 4 Turpan Urumqi
After breakfast, drive to Tuyugou Valley about 90 km from Turpan. Visit the local resident who lives in the valley and get inside knowledge from a local while face to face talking. After that, visit Gaochang Ancient City, which was an important garrison town on the Silk Road. Explore the Bezeklik Caves where more than 100 caves were hewn out of this cliff face between the 6th and 9th centuries by Buddhist monks. Watch Flaming Mountain from a distance and get panoramic view of it. Be transferred back to Urumqi in the afternoon and rest of day at leisure.
